Ending road accidents, Kyegegwa bodaboda riders trained

In a bid to address the challenge of road accidents mostly caused by reckless Boda Boda riders, traffic officials in Kyegegwa district have moved to train them.

In this training Bodaboda cyclists have been trained how to interpret road signs and the purpose of reflectors and helmets.

Abel Kanyankore an instructor from Wendi Driving school notes that road accidents affect the growth of the country’s economy.

The Bodaboda riders welcomed the initiative and asked the government to do it regularly.

In Uganda most Bodaboda riders do not acquire training before they get into the business. This is a danger to not only their lives but that of other road users as well.
