Minister Byamukama Weds In A Mass Wedding
The State Minister of Works and Transport and MP Bugangaizi West Fred Byamukama and his 14 brothers wedded in a mass wedding held at Kakindo Catholic Church. The 15 couples all sons of the Late Karoli Kamanyire, a historical NRM cadre who supported the NRA revolution.
State Minister of Works and Transport Fred Byamukama made his marriage vows with Gladyse Kemirembe yesterday during Holy mass celebrated by Msgr Rev. Fr. Robert Mugisa, the Vicar general of Hoima Catholic Diocese.
This was alongside his 14 brothers in a mass wedding.
Presiding over the wedding MSGR Mugisa asked married couples to desist from having hardened hearts but learn to forgive each other. Fred Byamukama district and promised never to let her down.
Earlier on in the day in the first mass, MSGR Rev. Fr. Joseph Birungi wedded 14 brothers of Fred Byamukama and asked them to stick to their marriage vows.
Speaking at the wedding Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja who represented President Yoweri Museveni says that Uganda at the moment has only one visionary leader who must be allowed to continue leading the country to greater heights.
Gen. Katumba Edward Wamala, the Minister for Works and Transport asked the people of Kakumiro to continue supporting the NRM government because of the transformation ushered in the area. President Yoweri Museveni supported the wedding with shs.189 million cash delivered by the Prime minister.
