Speaking to journalists in Banda, Robert Ojambo, a senior lecturer at Kyambogo University and the Publicity Secretary, stated that salary enhancements began in 2015.

However, since 2019, there have been no further salary increases, which is the primary reason for their decision to lay down their tools once again.
